Yesterday, Parthy made an offering to Sri Ganesh of Rs. 580/-… This is an important gesture for him: he has chosen to resign from his work of 15 years at Matrimandir, so that, with the settlement he receives upon resigning, he is able to pay all the debts his family forced him to make in the past two years; and the first “debt” he wanted to “pay” was to Sri Ganesh, from whom he says he has “borrowed” Rs. 500/- in my absence more than a year back; as for the Rs. 80/- I knew about it but had considered it justified…

And this morning, a young student from Edayachavadi came with his father to seek Sri Ganesh’s blessings and offered Rs. 10/-.
