In this material universe where we sojourn, there is first this reality which the forces of Matter and those of Nature have composed over the eras of the earth. And there is this reality which human beings have fashioned, fabricated, erected, arranged and built up and organized. Can one determine at which moment, at which threshold the germ of separateness and perversion entered the humanized consciousness engendering all the shadows and negations that have also made of the experience of the human race a field of sufferings and ordeals? And can one clearly distinguish at which point or juncture the loyal and legitimate exploitation of Nature’s forces and resources was debased and spoilt and mutated into a monstrous enterprise of rape and pillage?

How to remain – how to become – sufficiently alert, attentive and receptive at the same time not to, inadvertently or out of habit, reproduce the same alienations = the alienation of material Nature, of the earth-home, or the stepped alienation of social conditions, of identities?
