On Auroville 2022 to 2025
India, so that She becomes able to fulfil Her mission in the world, which is to show the way to the future with the spiritual force of unity, truth and harmony: “The time has come to replace the rule of fear by the government of Love...”. In Her material Yoga, Sweet Mother thus prayed continuously for the whole earth and poured ceaselessly, on all equally, all She could channelize of the great Consciousness-Force, and Her own body was the battlefield.
She was asking the Aurovilians to become warriors of Truth, but also children of Love and servitors of Harmony, open and receptive to the Force of Unity.
Auroville was tasked to discover new forms for a new consciousness, in the physical and material existence as in the subtler activities and the domains of education and organization. Since Auroville would attempt to include in the development of its collective awareness all fields of activity of the human experience, its search would seek to identify new possibilities of harmonious material progress, innovating and fecund, which could eventually be emulated and applied in the entire country and beyond its borders; it is thus that Auroville has gradually been widely appreciated for its diverse contributions and the quality of its products, without even having to refer to its “spiritual” commitment. During the last decade, two dates have marked the forward march of Auroville, through the use the Central Government chose to make of them: in 2018, Auroville turned 50 years old and, on this occasion, received the official visit of the Prime Minister of India. And in 2022, India celebrated the 150 th anniversary of Sri Aurobindo‟s birth, on August 15, which is also the commemorative day of Ind ia‟s Independence, and the Government chose to expound on the heritage that Sri Aurobindo has left through His many writings, exhortations and actions during His years as a “revolutionary”
