appearances and events may be, a trust in That which knows and sees, is our protection from all excesses. Nonetheless, it is not so easy to obtain these conditions from ourselves, as they can only be established once an actual individual work of cleansing, clarifying and unifying is accomplished, which few among us, proportionally to the mass of humanity, are ready or willing to attempt.

What, then, must be our prayer?

What must be our intent within the movement of calling and rallying?

One owes it to oneself, of course, to pray and orient towards the highest, vastest and most central ideal which one may consciously apprehend. Thus, for the children of the Mother, that is to say all who have become aware of Her work upon earth in physical Matter, this ideal will be to learn and follow Her in the realization of physical union and the manifestation of the new consciousness – its creative material incarnation. Yet, as Douce Mere has shown us constantly, one must remain concrete and practical and work in the immediate as well as in the flow of time.
