... Today finally the current supply was reestablished, and I can start the pump and fill the tank and open the public tap, after one full month! (The lines were restored in most of Auroville earlier but this particular connection was not a priority) ... Some Rs. 30/- were offered... ... These days, little cuts and scratches and bruises which I can’t help getting while clearing the garden of “Sincerity”, turn into sores; the body seems to be overwhelmed, its responses are too slow and too weak, and the wound on my arm has become quite spectacular, inflamed and raised and angry red – it is very close to another little wound that has been permanently on this arm for the past ten years or so, and which may well be some sort of skin cancer, and it is right over an old scar I have on my wrist since the age of 14, when I had cut my artery...!
