This is perhaps connected to the crisis with Viji – who wants to keep her pregnancy going, strongly influenced as she is by her own family (her mother was so “disappointed” that the first child was a girl and her own sister just had a second child, a boy); meanwhile Parthy is biding his time, hoping to make her see their situation and come to her senses and support him… … A small group of “devotees” marched in, did not even remove their shoes and threw some coins from the door of the shrine onto the floor… There are various types of callousness, no doubt!
