So there we are again, having to pull the pump out for repairs, just when we need to get everything ready… It seems that several settlements along the new Highway have had machines and instruments burnt out for the same reason…

Last night a very intense rain soaked the entire area, which is fortunate for us here as the tank is nearly empty; Babu has pulled the

pump out and taken it for rewinding of its coil. Meanwhile I have lost another costly bulb…

Yesterday and today, I could only clean Sri Ganesh’s figure and apply tilakam before covering it again, while both the lingam and Nandi are getting loads of flowers…

Today I paid the balance amount to Palanivel, of Rs, 4,450/-. The painting work is complete, except for a last coat on the Auroville symbol on the outside of the new wall; stones have arrived and the masons are finishing the very last section of wall across the little gully, and Krishna’s team is also busy…

I have ordered 300 laddus in Pondy and paid Rs. 2,100/-
