… Guna had to come again this morning, as the pump switch was still tripping; his conclusion now is that the submersible motor is shot, for which he blames the irregular voltage probably due to a fault in the nearby transformer – the fan has a burnt out capacitor, and we are loosing bulbs too… And so now we have no water and for the first time really since I installed it the public tap may go dry… I have been rather impatient with Guna, as I found him a little too indifferent, almost callous about it all… … I have been reading Sri Aurobindo’s definition of the qualities required for any transformation to become possible, and two of them are very difficult to realize = Sukham, that is, inner happiness, Hasyam, that is, constant inner smile and cheerfulness of the soul, in any circumstance…

Sometimes, it seems to me that these qualities Are indeed always present in you, Sri Ganesh –
