… Yesterday Parthy was examined at the Miot Hospital by the two doctors who have been following him; they could not find any pus collection, but took some internal tissues for biopsy. They confirmed that he is doing an excellent recovery and that his general condition is now satisfactory; but they are just as baffled as ever by these shifting inflammations… Their only reference seems to be a very rare disease, for which there is no known cure in India, but they will confirm this in a few days; meanwhile they have decided to gradually stop the heavy medication he has been taking since he returned home. They were back quite early and Parthy was cheerful.
