… Yesterday evening, while Parthy was being taken for an MRI scan, Selvam phoned to suggest that, as soon as he would come out of that room and be in the open corridor, on a wheel-chair, Selvam would call me back and hand the phone to him so we could at last talk a little together… And we did…! And although he is in much pain, he is so sweet and he laughs and is happy when I remind him that I am with him every minute and now he must push all the weakness out and for good… … Somehow all these years I have felt secure in the trust that, even when an act is not known to the others, it has the effect which is commensurate with the quality with which it is done; and in that sense, the daily service to Sri Ganesh, done as an offering to the Supreme, to the Mother, to the Truth and Delight of the Lord’s Manifestation, can only be a positive contribution in the collective atmosphere, whether or not there is awareness of it in others… But now I have wanted and prayed for this to bear specific results – to heal Parthy and return him to a healthy path of progress… And this specifying is perhaps a diminishment of the offering, a reduction of the act… Yet I believe I could learn in this way to unite with what Sri Ganesh stands for at the service of true progress in Matter, wherever and in whomever it becomes possible…
