Aum Namo Bhagavate Beautiful Ganesha…

- 13-08-09:

When I open the door to the shrine this morning, a tender sight greets me: a small silhouette of snowy light leaning on Sri Ganesh’s left side, sheltered by him, like a new life… It is a peculiar natural event; for the last few months I have let a thicket of vetiver grass grow and develop in the shallow part of the pond and the stems and blades have risen the height of tall reeds and begun to bloom. The blossom looks like certain types of millet, only higher and the ears are segmented: each stem ends with two successive separate sections of tightly, densely arrayed velvety golden brown growth. I had placed three such stems in a tall vase right by Sri Ganesh and one of them suddenly matured overnight and gave out a burst of hundreds or thousands of fluffy silvery-white stars which, in the immobile air of the shrine, congregated into that silhouette of wonderful tenderness… Each of these fluffy stars is meant to be lifted and carried by the breeze, till it seeds itself in a new ground… And this sight was as if Sri Ganesh was showing one of the grades of substantiation – one of the stages of the turning of Light into Matter… I later checked the thicket in the pond and could find no other burst of seeds…

… Today, Mr. Duraikanan came, did his pranams, took his tilakam and refrained from picking any flowers…

Sri Ganesh, There is simplicity In the puissance that knowledge gives,
