It is also easy to establish the objectivity of human consciousness, through evolution and through reversals, destruction, death, rebirth and continuous change. But how to ascertain the condition and state of consciousness of “gods” as distinct and independent from ours? For instance, can I take it for granted that what I “perceive” or “experience” of the presence of Sri Ganesh is valid and emanates from an actual, independent, objective reality on a subtle, “occult” plane? But unless I become conscious on that very plane itself and able to verify the degree of objectivity directly, by repeated and compared experiences, how can I be sure?
O Sri Ganesh, O sweet Dancer, Ever the Richness of Amrit Flows from your limbs And radiates from each one Of your movements, In wakeful peace
