Yes, we all know now that this earth is our common vessel, our one vessel, one with all of its parts.

In this new situation, never experienced before, religions, traditions and cultures tend to become fetters that hold us back and divide us – or maintain apparently irreconcilable differences.

No culture can accept to be invaded by another.

Yet, humanity as a whole, with its many faces and distinct past histories and acquired qualities and assets, can today face the challenges and necessities of evolution only if it recognizes itself as one and opens itself willingly and consciously to a future of harmony superior to all it has ever experienced.

Weighty is the baggage of all our legitimate resentments.
