Several other authentic spiritual masters have also been physically present during the same period of the 20 th century, such as Swami Ramdas, Swami Shivananda and Swami Chidananda and Ma Anandamayee, as well as lesser known realized beings who nonetheless have opened thresholds of consciousness in our shared reality, but the four I have chosen as examples have each blazed altogether new trails of spiritual experience and action in the world.
