Yesterday Manikandan was informed, in the AV Foundation office, that neither the National Highway Authorities nor even the District Collector cared much at all for Auroville but that, somehow, the road itself was going to be laid well away from the temple; only, it is their rule to have on either side of the road some empty space and part of the compound may fall into that area. He was also told that the present Secretary, Mr. Ramaswamy, is feeling a great danger for Auroville these days and spends much time visiting various temples in the area to seek divine help…1 And he was advised that the best way to contact him directly was via e-mail, And so, I’m now planning to e-mail him a personal invitation to visit the temple as soon as possible…
