On Auroville 2022 to 2025

And indeed, we soon received the written legal orders duly signed by the Secretary of the Foundation: we were thanked and officially replaced by better Aurovilians designated by the „authorities‟. A large part of the community had eventually been persuaded to accept this ultimate recourse by means of a sustained most vile defamation campaign and facile slogans and in this way the rules of the game had been flouted without any major objection. What we are witnessing today is but the logical continuation of this first twist of the tacit law of Auroville: solidarity and each and everyone‟s effort to face and integrate all the approaches, without ever turning to a power exterior to the experience. Are we not Her children, and has She not given all the indications for us to find and discover the way? But on our side, we must keep and nourish the faith, the trust and the thrust towards the Truth, right and vast and always in progress. Will the possibility of a new beginning, of a resumption of our commitment, be given us? Or must we wait for all ambitions and arguments to wear out, so that the blessed moment may be found again? The „wooden tongue‟ of falsity and hypocrisy reign s in all public spheres of this world and the new technologies of communication multiply its deleterious effects, when these same technologies, placed in the hands of enlightened consciousnesses receptive to the Force of Truth, could well hasten the coming of a new creation and the healing of this wounded and diseased world.

May we find and develop in ourselves the discipline, rectitude and integrity the spirit of the times demands and watch over the flame , at Her service…!
