Another Choice

For all the instants, for all the gestures and movements, for all the morrows?

How can we ever love and welcome unconditionally that which itself is, in us or in the others – and it is the same thing -, prefers immediate satisfaction to the progressive discovery of a free and authentic joy?

In oneself and around one and in Nature and in Matter, in the universe that has borne us out?

Our prime priority is thus self-evident: it is to work at one’s own individual clearing, no longer expecting of the other, the others or the world to work the miracle which each of us alone can call here itself, into one’s own domain of existence.

This priority is not the first in the linear sense, but in the sense of its corresponding conscious call and of the simultaneous order of all the goals to be served.

We stand at the edge of another “pralaya” (re-absorption of the creation): we see outlined the presages of the destruction of humanity and of great upheavals of terrestrial Nature: yet it is said that six “pralaya” have already taken place and that this manifestation, the seventh, is the one meant to attain equilibrium, the equilibrium of a continuous progress and unfolding. And indeed perhaps we can, this time, faced with the contradiction in its whole complex negation, seize the spring of the Supreme and call into us another consciousness, another State of the Consciousness, this State of Unity which alone may lead each being and each force to its true place. Perhaps indeed we are today the chosen many of an immeasurable privilege, that of being at once witnesses and participants in a moment of unprecedented terrestrial Choice – and one which will never ever occur again.
