be unified by the fact of an awakened presence throughout the body – there will perhaps be a certain similarity with sculptures of ancient India figuring bodies with very slim waists and wide and smooth shoulders, giving an impression at once of grace, plasticity and force.

Along with our imprecise and confused fumbling and groping, still subject to all sorts of influences, mental formations and vital wants, we become aware of a quest which today moves and motivates the human species as a whole as well as in its specifics – a quest for another materiality, for another presence to the world, for another habitat – an organism which may at once contain and preserve the capacities acquired through evolution and to receive and adapt to a new action of the consciousness, intuitive and direct.

We experience the need and necessity of a growing movement of union: what will the breath be like, what will the heart be, what will the brain be?

What will their functions be, their processes?

We also realize that, in an almost mechanical way, the body’s aspiration itself produces its receptivity, or allows it to open, or favors it – aspiration is our means of opening to the future.

The future?

Not that of all the catastrophes which logically can but happen, but a future of forever, a future for which all has worked, suffered, labored and contributed, even unawares and often unwillingly – but simply because everything, absolutely everything, is part of the One’s way.
