Another Choice

And we concretely understand the urgency of the awakening, of the recovery: all these instants, all these points of matter and life, all that forms the fabric of our existences, must be retrieved.

And we pray: let the true Consciousness invade and fill us, let everything be its vehicle and its home, let our very existence be its dance and its chant.

Let nothing, nothing subsist separated by illusion.

From our corporeal organism to the least subconscious pulse, from the trembling of desire to the pain that seizes, from our excrements to our laughter and our distress, we must learn everything all over again with the consciousness, before the consciousness, for the consciousness: let everything become capable of love and progress forever and together and everywhere.

To offer, to become capable of offering each most prosaic gesture, each movement of the body as of the physical consciousness – not like a sacrifice of dissolution, but as an invocation, an invitation, a call for the Presence to take possession of Its world…

For we know nothing, we can do nothing, we have nothing – and what are we really?

What we do now know is that all comes from the One, the One Consciousness, the One Existence.

What we can now do is to turn to That within ourselves as in everything and give ourselves to It.

What we do now have is this grateful recognition, this meeting, this living goal within and above and all round everywhere.

And what we now are?
