Another Choice

The nearer this presence reaches to our external milieu and, doing so, takes part in our experience of the physical world and the more the need for Another Life grows in us.

Yet it is no longer a matter of a lack: it is now a force of aspiration, an oriented fire, as we now understand that this union or reunion with the inner being is heralding a service and a work, if not a labor, contributing to a transition as harmonious as possible from this human state to the other State which must replace it or incarnate ahead of it.

We realize, little by little, the enormity of this underlying subconscience: the great obstacle to the progress of consciousness and terrestrial evolution.

Progress.

The sense of progress.

Every instant, under the unmoving pressure of this inner axis, as every situation and every circumstance, become the occasion of an observation, of an understanding, of a progress.

The whole of life becomes a laboratory and a field of study.

And, more particularly, directly and intimately, it is our body, our corporeal experience of the world, which becomes our research station.

We do feel the necessity of this process, even if it seems to be still so uncertain – we are glued and mired down and blinded -, but something like a love for harmony, beauty and grace, for union everywhere filling at last all these holes of absence in our bodies, all these chasms through which death is lurking still – this love sustains us.
