… When I have time I read a little more about Ganeshji; today I read about a supposedly pre-Vedic Dravidian “cult of Yoga”, and of Shiva having been worshipped by the Arabs before Islam was born... I have long since ceased to be impressed by historians, especially when they sound so sure of themselves (I have seen here how history is manipulated and created to suit certain purposes, in the sense that facts and events and situations are recorded with twists and omissions which become soon enough “general knowledge”).

But there are lineages, there are answering manifestations through he ages and across all climes…

Lately I have probably indulged in a measure of revolt and doubt, and it has interfered with my experience of this service; but questioning must be let out and faced: it is only necessary and healthy to go through its acid test…
