with Sri Ganesh

… This phase is a little tough: yesterday evening the orthopedist doctor looked at the X-rays and declared, one, that my right hip was wearing out fast and I would loose it within a year if I kept sitting on the floor, and, two, that two of my discs in the lower back were also worn out and causing compression of the neighboring vertebrae (this was the result of the break I had in my spine 40 years ago, just as the damage to the hip resulted from the fall I had 15 years ago)… … Other worries have also come and all this only seems to indicate… the end of the impasse…! But how to end? At the same time, oddly, since two days or so I find a little improvement in my mobility; it is slightly but markedly freer and it is surely due to the continuing practice of this set of exercises Joan has taught me. There is much to say on all of this, but is it at all Sri Ganesh’s concern? It is of course, in the sense that another person would have to be found sooner than later – but I guess it would be Parthy, at least for a while…
