… In the afternoon I cycled back here to do the watering…

… It seems that the more I am made to struggle with these concrete physical disharmonies, interferences and betrayals, and the more my waking consciousness is occupied by the fixative material mind and its mechanical attachments with which it marks the passage of time…. It is like a slow, gradual, and inexorable crippling; and yet there is a breath of trust –

- 15-03-11:

First thing I had to do, arriving here, was to remove a large plastic poster advertising some supposedly divine being, carrying a photographic portrait of a middle aged lady, grinning with a sort of drunken expression and with murky eyes, on whose forehead a sign “Aum” is said to appear, and who can be seen in a certain house in Edayachavadi…; this poster was tied up onto an electrical pylon nearest to the gate for the past two days and I figured no one around here would be offended if I took it down.
