… Early on a busload of boys and girls students from the Kuillapallayam High School trooped in to do a little puja, with offerings of garland and fruit and camphor and incense, to pray for success in their exams, all very disciplined… … Today the headman, after doing his usual full pranams, stood a long time before Sri Ganesh, obviously very moved and as if not wanting to take his eyes away from this darshan; and after a while he turned to me exclaiming, emphatic: “Bhagavan, rombo nala…!” (the Lord is so very beautiful!) And it is true. It is actually as if Sri Ganesh was growing more beautiful with time; and I can’t help be perplexed by the fact that almost no one else is made aware of it or benefits from it…

Yesterday evening Parthy had come to offer to Sri Ganesh some of the fresh Moong dhal he had just harvested on his land.
