… Just as I am doing the Aarti, a loud, noisy group of local ladies and girls, with an old man and a young boy, all crowd in at the door to the shrine, seeking Sri Ganesh’s blessings; they soon become quiet, and enter in some sort of order and offer coins and Rs. 10/-… … Later I simply have to rest a little while in the Riddhi room: last night was remarkably bad, with a strange case of acidity that had me choke for several minutes – it was quite horrific, while somewhat funny also -, besides the constant pain in the left hip, and I spent the rest of the night swallowing every second and not finding and painless position… But I believe I am learning some important lesson towards a true physical consciousness… and that sense helps me to recover a measure of confidence…

Sri Ganesh, you seem To be riding on a sea or a field Of precious, offered energies, A wondrous, exquisite coalescence Of the inexhaustible treasure That underlies All that is – There is at once An imperious and harmonious Richness In your movement, As if the sign of a freedom Illimitable

That recreates itself At every moment, Its only compulsion Being Love and delight…
