… As I begin preparing the puja today, two young women, well- dressed active women, come in and sit in the shrine and stay for the entire duration till the Aarti is completed, in silent meditation… I must say that so far I have not gained any understanding of how it works here – of what brings people in, in general or individually… … The pain is now lodged in the left hip and shoots down to the left foot; moving through the day, it gets tolerable, but at dawn it is quite excruciating…

Sri Ganesh, You ride in sumptuous attire Your great chariot That is littered With the offerings – You ride amongst the people, Amidst the troops, Yet your destination Is nowhere, For it is Beyond space and time, It is in the One, It is here Always And evermore Here – Blessings and Fire and Peace And Harmony Fly and shoot from you As you go To those who have asked To see you,
