Sri Ganesh is in Action, His hands full of various blessings always. The infinite creation.

(Note: It was only in the second half of 2007 and at the beginning of 2008 that I really started to have Sri Ganesh’s Darshans; why it is so, I do not know. Perhaps I didn’t have enough confidence earlier, or I was too mixed up in the action, ego was in the way… in the sense that hesitation, doubt, ignorance itself is ego, born of ego, bound to ego, fruit of ego… But at the beginning of 2008, began also a kind of discipline, or rhythm of service: I would clean up the temple, the compound and the gate area, collect the flowers, arrange them for Sri Ganesh, each day as it came, chant some slokas and mantras, do the Aarti, light incense and take some to the Aum pillar, to the well, to the Shiva Lingam, to Nandi, to the pond Aavirbhav, to the Riddhi room. Then I would do whatever gardening needed to be done that day. Later I would take notes, recording any visitor, any incident. And only then, I would sit before Sri Ganesh and gaze at him in receptivity to the particular experience of his presence he would give me on that day; and, after a while, I would let the words form that would best carry the sense of that expression of his.)
