… Krishna’s team is here, and so is Arun; the power is back, the tank is filled and today I can water the garden… We have lost much ground and there is a chaos of broken masonry, upturned soil, scattered rocks and stones, and the whole place is so exposed; but Arun is pushing on with his plan and the team is erecting a temporary fence with granite posts, casuarinas poles and reams of woven palm leaves, and we still have access to the well…!
