… Sometimes, looking at the situation which is presently mine, I think that perhaps the Divine, or the higher consciousness, takes some of our aspirations seriously – that it deems them to be meaningful and valid enough for the general progress and the growth of consciousness and arranges circumstances accordingly… For instance there has always been in me a sense of the self-delusion that automatically takes place when individuals are made or allowed to occupy “important positions”, functions and roles of import within the collectivity. Something then always happens which makes them and everyone around them value their personality in ways that are essentially false, illusory and actually irrelevant in terms of true, substantial progress. And I have always felt a need, a yearning not to be trapped by any of this and to be able to offer a naked, untrammeled and un-priced physical being… And this is what, in the apparent solitude and isolation and loss of purpose that have been mine for some years now, has been given me. Another instance is that I have always felt wary, for similar reasons, of the formations that result of an inter-personal arrangement, such as a couple or a family, etc.; and I am living alone.
