with Sri Ganesh

Aum Gan Ganapataye Namah...

… Last night Parthy dreamt that he had come here into the shrine and found that Sri Ganesh had moved off and to the side, a little distance from his pedestal, as if sulking; Parthy couldn’t understand what could have been the cause of this move; then he saw that Sri Ganesh was crying and he too started to cry and then he lifted Sri Ganesh’s stone figure back on its pedestal very tenderly and Sri Ganesh hugged him and it was alright… I can’t help seeing this dream as the expression of regret in Parthy’s heart that he is not doing the daily puja any more, now that I have returned, and also as a statement from Sri Ganesh himself that he prefers it when Parthy tends him… Since I have wondered many a time whether I am at all acceptable to Sri Ganesh and, more recently, thought that perhaps this physical crisis was an indication that it ought to be Parthy, instead of me, doing the daily service, I am actually, just now, quite willing to let go and step aside… But Parthy wouldn’t hear of it!

So I concentrated today to do a happier puja and asked Sri Ganesh to settle it directly with Parthy…
