It is the New Year.

… I come with a throbbing heart…: there has been some incomprehension between Parthy and me, some separatedness, and he has gone alone, suddenly, early this morning, to the Ashram, while his parents and brother came to Sincerity to present a shawl to me… It may simply be that, through his lack of awareness, Parthy provides a sort of channel for a force that keeps hitting at me, wanting to harm – as it has all through this life… There is a disparity in our respective stores of experiential references – what I have met recently, with this extreme struggle in the body, with what is called “death” and what is called “love”, with these energies, is exceptional, extraordinary and indelible. But Parthy’s own awareness is yet too limited on the one hand and, on the other hand, I have through the intensity of this very focused period, grown too attached to him… … Jean Yves and Mi Hong came and sat for a long time to greet the New Year with Sri Ganesh and Jean Yves sang several slokas and mantras and then we both sang the Gayatri Mantra together repeatedly… Mi Hong also offered Rs. 100/- Later, a young Aurovilian from Edayachavadi - I forgot his name – also comes to meditate for the New Year and offers Rs. 50/-

… I am ashamed to hurt so much, to be so small…!

But, no matter what, I shall continue to trust in the truth of the Play, In its genuine, impregnable Delight, The Delight of the Many in One, of the One in Many… Aum

… The pain has been taken away this morning – Parthy came early to the house and it all got cleared – and gratitude, relief and a little enthusiasm for the way ahead have taken its place…
