This morning we did another big clean-up – the Riddhi room, another pathway, the area around the tank… I want the whole place to be as tidy as possible for the New Year…

… Somehow I now hesitate to take the time, as I used to, late morning, once the work is done, to sit before Sri Ganesh quietly and let some sense and defining impressions coalesce of that aspect of the Divine Personality at that particular moment in its contact with the Origin – of that unique beat of Being.

It is there, though. It is perhaps even more there than before. But I don’t know… Perhaps something is missing in me?

Or else I am too rebellious, or I am too caught up, too tied by the needs of this material world and I can’t help wanting some practical development, some effective expression, some tangible progress…
