… It sometimes occurs to me that, regardless of religious or spiritual experience, regardless even of degrees of objectivity or subjectivity in the relationships and contacts with gods or with spiritual beings, the mere fact of a daily repetition of a particular offering, expecting no result and nothing in return and simply satisfied and happy with the very movement of the offering, is bound to have sooner or later some effect in the general atmosphere, like a battery one charges, or a power-lamp; and thus, would it be only for that, I’d somehow be content; for, really, what else can one actually “do”…?

Sri Ganesh, Out of inert obscurity You raise gently A whole garden Of consciousnesses,

Movements and calm bursts Of consciousness and delight, Like songs raised from stones. A tender blissful festival Of living prayers, Their voices a clear honey Of rapturous recognition –

And so, out of the men’s Subconscious parts You must raise

Cleansed thrusts of Helpful perception

At the service Of Her world’s Integrity…
