Sometimes there is rebellion...: to have day in and day out this human company for the sharing of the beauty of the darshan, this physical mind and this burping and eyes-rubbing and belching and these mechanical gestures to end with the same vigorous, insensitive shaking of the bells... and yet I do not think I would rather cater to more ‘educated’ people.. I don’t know. But these days anyway I am in that mood of disgust – at the ageing of the body and the feeling that I must have been merely “parked” here, given just enough occupation to stay out of trouble, either to me or caused by me...!

Sri Ganesh, You come forward With your prosperous, rotund, Flaming figure, Playful and massive And draped in Riches – You come forth As in a gust of Plenty, Nectarous and Fiery And Lovely, And in your unique way This is your call To the Battle And you are the Chosen Warrior Who clears the path To Victory, The Victory of Harmony...
