… I made a special little prayer for A.’s surgery at 9 am this morning… Normally I do not want to enter into this relationship – of asking the god for help in practical or physical matters -, but in cases of individuals whom I know to be sadhaks on this path, I do feel it is right to seek your collaboration, help and protection… … Arriving here today I found that someone had taken away a beautiful little rock I had placed near to the public tap… It is such incidents, quite inconsequential in themselves I suppose, expressing such a complete disregard for beauty, harmony and general welfare, that can open to discouragement…: what is the point really of my striving to provide this little public service…? …Rs. 30/- are offered…
