A couple come in as I sit before Sri Ganesh and they offer Rs. 10/-; an older lady, whose face is familiar, perhaps the mother of one of them, follows right afterwards and she offers Rs. 500/-; then the headman comes in with his medicines for blessings and also offers Rs. 10/- In the afternoon, at the Ashram Cottage, I order 300 laddus, which cost Rs. 4,000/- (a big increase this year) and I also purchase two new buckets and jugs, for Rs. 200/-
