Yesterday I found that Hemant has written to say he will explore possibilities to have an official Account in Auroville for Sri Ganesh so that donations made to it would get tax-exempt receipts. I am hesitant regarding this kind of arrangements, as they often lead, if not necessitate, little “adjustments” with the truth... To begin with, Auroville as a non-religious institution cannot have a religious place in it receiving donations, and I would have to justify any expense with bills for construction or maintenance materials, for instance...
