Questions and Meditations

22 The passage

Through this lifetime which is presently allotted to us, each of us must incessantly compose with the trinity of body, life and thought so as to set and maintain a viable equilibrium, liable to progress and evolve, to refine, develop and accomplish itself midst the others as an individual ego. When the experience occurs of the inner discovery or of the spiritual birth, our relationship to this personal equilibrium as to its constituents undergoes a radical change = we acquire a perspective. (The impression can also be that we simply recover perspective.)

*

*

The ego finds itself overseen, embraced, watched and supported as if by an elder brother who knows better, who sees more clearly, who shows new horizons. The entire being in all of its parts is gradually solicited.

*

And it is the return as if of another memory, that of an ineffable commitment at the service of a manifestation one and true – one in its love, its power and its joy, one in its infinite becoming.

Here. In Matter.

*

But our nature as it is must be changed, actively transformed = the sediments of its subconscience accumulated through the ages must be lifted up into another clarity.
