Questions and Meditations

There are some in our midst who know, with a knowing so profound it is inalienable, that this Earth is both our anchor and our vessel in the material universe and that it already has harbored so many of our attempts in our labor of progress, while many more of us, perhaps even the majority, remain hypnotized and conquered by the bounds of birth and death. And if some amongst us do revere the Earth, however rude and brutal it may show itself, most of us are concerned with the terrestrial conditions beyond their hours only insofar as their affection for their own progeny is free of egoism.

Have we not already vitiated, poisoned and spoilt the very elements, for generations to come?
