But what do we mean by “unity”?

*

And, to begin with, the unity of what?

Human unity – peace, fraternity, friendship and collaboration amongst all peoples, all cultures, all men and women?

The unity of all that is?

Is that an actual self-existing fact, which we have only to admit – if our minuscule egos allow it?

*

Is it a fusion that is being sought, a great mix, an indeterminate cosmic broth?

Is it in the image of our subconscious that mingles and churns and brews all the impressions and memories without any respite or discernment, annulling all meaning, all hope, all project or purpose?

*

Or is it a maturation, a development of the consciousness incarnated in humanity that becomes capable of recognizing the divinity inherent in every being, every force, and every element?

But are all living beings equally divine?

Can the divine dignity of a tiger be found in every human being?

What are the role and measure of complexity in the evolution of the consciousness incarnate in terrestrial matter?
