Good and Evil. The polarities.

And yet we well know, every one of us in one’s heart, that the choice is constantly given us, the responsibility of which is ours alone: to be truthful and united, or to be lying and separate.

To will for oneself alone, or to will with the true conscious will.

Already in the times of the Mahabharata, the Lord Avatar, Krishna, having shown the complex intricacy of debts, duties and attachments, invited his friend and disciple so: “Take refuge in Me alone, I shall do everything for thee…”

But we cling to duality, it is our engine of growth, our agent of evolution. What would we do without the good and the bad, the near and the far, the left and the right, the male and the female, the young and the old, the living and the dead, the white and the black?

And how would we reflect and orient ourselves without the perpetual dilemma of free-will and determinism? The fruit of the mind.

Are these evolutionary dependency and necessity, characteristics that are exclusive to, or were specifically elected for, this particular, local process? Could it be that elsewhere, within another material context, an evolving manifestation of consciousness has been effectuated without resorting to duality?
