Yesterday in Puducherry many large effigies of Sri Ganesh were taken in large processions to the sea; some of those were so huge that a crane had to lift them and drop them into the waters… So, today, I find that I am ready to remove Sri Ganesh’s crown and dress and give him a careful oil and camphor bath… Sri Ganesh, Everywhere you are so famous and so big and so favored and crowds in such numbers turn to you and celebrate your presence… Will you not consent to use this tiny abode here dedicated to you, to do some of your work for the Mother in the world? Sri Ganesh, This is my prayer: that your action, Hers alone, Is served here, through this daily offering…

Today you look and feel like Mother After a day of Darshan, After the mass of people Has receded and the air is Cleansed and pacified and one returns To the concentrated work, Without fuss, without claims…
