A multitude of questions emerged from living and concrete situations, which could no longer always be put to Her directly. The demands on the endurance and resilience of Her body were such that several days could elapse when no intermediary could approach Her, or else only in silence.

On several instances She had confirmed that this would be a town of 50,000 inhabitants, doubtlessly so that this attempt might not be classified as just one more experiment in community life without any real consequence nor any exemplary value for the world; it was also to place the entire experience in the general collective awareness in such a way that those who would participate would not be tempted by some respite or some reduction of its scale and amplitude: for it must be a work for the Earth, not a retreat for privileged individuals.

Now, in the immediate vicinity were several villages the populations of which counted together about 30,000 residents.

These would have necessarily, in time, to have the possibility to choose the degree and the mode of their participation.
