For, in Her constant urge and thrust towards a more conscious future, the first fortresses that She shattered were those of the parochial mentality – of our prejudices, our ostracisms and our racisms. The true Consciousness is One and expresses itself in a diversity that can only be infinite.

The more She advanced on the way and the more all human constructions, which are responsible for our conditionings, appeared hollow and restrictive, and false and poor these moral values which human societies flaunt and use in order to judge and to condemn. She wanted that the children and the adolescents – and that all in this ashram – should experience the thirst for a truer life and ask to be prepared and trained for it = an individual and collective existence founded on the laws of the spirit and the soul. “A Dream There should be somewhere on earth a place which no nation could claim as its own, where all human beings of goodwill who have a sincere aspiration could live freely as citizens of the world and obey one single authority, that of the supreme Truth; a place of peace, concord and harmony where all the fighting instincts of man would be used exclusively to conquer the causes of his sufferings and miseries, to surmount his weaknesses and ignorance, to triumph over his limitations and incapacities; a place where the needs of the spirit and the concern for progress would take precedence over the satisfaction of desires and passions, the search for pleasure and material enjoyment.
