Which town?

The fundamental values of Her city, profoundly revolutionary and transformative, cannot be truly and genuinely accepted by an ordinary human institution : would the Government of India, land of immemorial and innumerable quest, know and be able to honor these values?

The arrival of an eminent and respectable person at the table of a family riddled with quarrels first imposes propriety; then, little by little, after prudent observation, every grievance will discreetly be reported – in the hope of some assistance, reparation or equitable justice. In this way was O. rapidly made aware of the poor communal health and this was how he recommended, as soon as the Government’s role was confirmed, that an inclusive list be drawn up of all the actual members of Her town – thus effectively putting an end to all movement of ideological ostracism.

The time had come to bring some order on the ground and to coordinate all the activities, development initiatives and movements of growth : if the creation of collective services corresponded to evident needs, that of productive units depended more on individual inspiration and engagement. However, the urgency of a consistent economic support so as to provide for all these increasing needs was making itself known to all : several handicrafts centers began to contribute regularly, not only to the community directly but also to numerous families of villagers by giving them remunerated work – pottery, weaving, fabrication of incense and perfumes,
