Which town?

As this sphere further materialized, its realization grew more complex and required the contribution of other technologies and methods necessitating detailed and attentive studies. The sense and perception of an evidence, which had inhabited the precedent phases of the construction, seemed lessened, or complicated or compromised or even contradicted by the apparent obligation to utilize more hazardous or more dependent techniques and materials. Yet the existing structure was of reinforced concrete – it was no longer the purity of the hewn stone as it had been for the pyramids, the temples and the cathedrals -, a material and a technique which had so far been used in the world mainly for works of public utility such as bridges, dams and reservoirs, or for futurist forms of collective habitat and had not yet elicited the same reverence or care for perfection. But the concrete of this temple, for its builders as for all members of the community, was charged with presence : each ounce of it was a call and a prayer for the perfection of a vessel of consciousness, an offering to the great Shakti, an act of unification. And how majestically alive it was, this concrete : an assurance, a great rising and a puissant descent meeting each other for a future of vibrant plenitude. Our inner home, our unity – and the friend, the shelter and refuge and the site of alignment. Was this a matter of nobility?
