Sri Ganesh, You appear to descend today As a High Being from a high Plane, Unsullied and endowed With high Perfection Such as those great entities Who monitor impartially The Universes – And yet as you appear, As upon a deep lake, The reflection that rises

To meet your form Is your form again, But richer and deeper, Though tainted by Experience... (11-02-12)

Sri Ganesh, Like a star Performer Having completed a great solo dance, You step to the edge of the stage And slowly circle it,

Nearest to the crowd, Your countenance is Earthy Yet lofty and unseizeable,

Your figure is agile yet serene, Unmoved is your flaming crown,

You remain A mystery, And yet your gesture Fills the hearts
