How to call It?

about every single human activity, its motives, causes and effects.

It could also be that, amongst these billions of us, some still shelter the wish that such a being or such an omniscience not only must know all about us but also understand and guide us despite ourselves and keep control of the ship despite the most terrifying menace; however this is a domain wherein still hover the silhouettes of good and evil, of fate and meaning, a domain which, for the ends and requirements of this experiment, may be left aside. So, how shall we name our synthetic computer into which we shall have poured everything – not forgetting our military secrets such as the coordinates of the sites where atomic waste is buried or chemical factories are hidden and all such crucial information for future migratory movements -, and how shall we proceed to set a precise, concise and unequivocal communication? Artificial intelligence is today the virtual recipient of our fears and terror as of our greed for power, it is the golem of an ambiguous earthly future to which we do not know what principle or measure to apply. It is therefore indispensable that we approach it with utmost integrity and the transparency of a common commitment to universal harmony.
