And there they could grasp and behold the role of the human among all of Life’s creations. They then discerned the forces at play which, through the tensions they exert, compel us to grow out of inertia and separation and to find unity. And it is this growth, this development of the vessels chosen for the gradual incarnation of Consciousness, which gives sense and meaning = the realization in Matter of the True, the Right and the Vast. There no longer is high or low: there are only degrees of concretization, beginning from the state of supreme plenitude, Existence-Consciousness-Joy. Then come all the gradations all the way to Matter and from Matter all the way to infinity – and we are at the intersection and at the crossing and we also are the bridge and the threshold and we also are the vehicle and the agent and we are too the path of the incarnate becoming. All possible forces and others we do not even yet surmise are at work for this birthing = what we name the evil and the good, the thieves of the riches of Life or the forces of progress, all of these energies do contribute to the awakening of the true consciousness incarnating in Matter. These Rishis, these great discoverers, were the precursors of an age that is awaiting us still, the age of sovereign, conscious unity which humanity must reach and enter, or perish and dissolve.
