Another Choice

We comprehend a little better perhaps the work and service that each one may contribute to the salvation of the earth and the evolution of the incarnate consciousness.

And to the resolution of all suffering, all misery and all denial.

Along with the evolution of the vital capacity, then of the mental capacity, and the development of the instrumental individualities, the contradiction of Unity too has developed and refined, become more complex and diverse.

Neither the vital force nor the mental force have the power to put a term to it, since they have themselves permitted and favored its ascendance.

Our own ego is its first ally, since it cannot itself exist without the separation and the division.

We all are, each of us, implicated, since each of us cherishes within one’s breast one form or another of the separation.

We understand that we all have reached the time of the change – the contradiction dominates the world and we possess neither the instruments nor the capacities or the knowledge to remedy to it.

We absolutely have to, either accede to another principle of consciousness and open ourselves to it, or disappear.

We understand that, when we at last find our inner being, we at the same time find the inner truth of this world, its true sense and need.

The True is indivisible and cannot be dissociated and yet it can express itself in an infinity of unique beings – mutually responsive.
